A whole new way to love food

Thorne's Foods is the vision of Jason Hurwitz.

His plan for a new way to let busy urbanites shop for country food close to home, was the start of an epic search. Whilst assembling the perfect team of food gurus to bring Thorne's to life, Jason led the hunt throughout Sussex and beyond to find the ingredients he felt could do justice to the Thorne’s high standards of quality and locality.

After tasting his way around the country, Jason chose a historic building in Brighton to unite the diverse Thorne's offering, and connect with the local community in an enduring and sustainable way. As well as promoting fair trade with excellent local farmers and producers, we also support local charities and practice a dedicated ethical and environmental policy.

The only thing we love more than fine ingredients, good eating and healthy balanced living, is sharing those things with our customers.
